" As someone who had never taken formal acting classes, or had any kind of acting experience at all, I was fairly nervous when I went to find a class to start participating in. Kent's class was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn't be happier with how it has turned out. He is extremely knowledgeable about acting technique and it is obvious he has a deep understanding of the method he teaches. More importantly though, Kent has the unique ability to make all of his knowledge and experience accessible to his students, regardless of experience. Class sizes are generally small with many of his students being a close knit group of regulars. Despite this I felt immediately welcome in his class. “ I held a teenage fantasy that I would one day make it to Hollywood and try my hand at acting (ambitious I know, given the fact that I was living in Australia at the time).

As it happens with so many teenage fantasies, I hadn't actually made any discernable forward motion towards its realization... that was of course until I spotted a flyer for Kent's acting class pinned to a coffee shop wall in Venice Beach, California.  When I read the flyer I was instantly struck with an undeniable urge to attend the class.
